Space Port Indiana™ President Tours Kennedy Space Center and the Launch Pad where STS-125 left earth on May 12th. Tanner was at Kennedy as part of a global meeting of the existing Space Ports in order to move ahead with plans to collaborate internationally. The national movement is underway as more private companies are awarded contracts to deliver launch services to NASA. The Falcon 9 will be the first private rocket system to re-supply the International Space Station (ISS) after the Shuttle retires in 2010. There are only 8 Shuttle missions remaining.Tanner's tour of Ports will also include collaboration with Barcelona Spain and Holland who are joining the international space community with a Space Port.
