Get InvolvedROCKET CLUB TO BE FORMED IN 2011...OPEN TO STUDENTS AND ADULTS AGE 10-90 Spaceport Indiana will become the lead for a new rocket club in Indiana. Team members at SPI have begun the planning process for a new club that will help educate students and adults on rocket safety, design, and flight. The unique assets of SPI will help create the perfect environment for rocket work and offer awesome opportunities for rocket enthusiats of all levels. Whether you have years of experience or never touched a rocket, you'll find fun, and create great friendships and contacts in the rocket community. If you would like to join the rocket club, email us at ContactUs@SpaceportIndiana,com and put "Rocket Club" in yor subject line. We will put you on the mailing list and send you important information about the Club as it becomes available. ASK ABOUT GETTING INVOLVED WITH SPACE PORT ACTIVITIES
Space Port Indiana, Inc. and the Indiana Space & Science Foundation, Inc. welcome and encourage folks who want to engage with our facilities. If you would like to help during camps or workshops, we can find way to help you engage with our students. If you have some unique experience in space, aerospace or engineering and would like to lecture at one of the camps or workshops...let us know. We like it when our students can get advise from those with actual experience in the field. We also encourage you to get involved with our launches. So much can be learned by the experience and you will take that knowledge back to your own personal work. We schedule several rocket and balloon launches each year so there is plenty of opportunity to get involved. We also cover a great part of Indiana with our outreach, so if you live in a particular part of Indiana that we may be visiting, you might find that to be an excellent time to join us and share your knowledge or past experience. We have created great relationships with amatuer rocket clubs, military personnel and retirees that love to spend time with both adults and students working on science projects.
